Previously, lylian-fotabong.blogspot.com explored many issues, but focused mainly on those that failed to make it to other media because they were not considered as “breaking” or newsworthy enough or that they were not bleeding so could not be leading. Now that we are moving this blog to lylianfotabong.com, our vision is to guard your mental health by not preying on your fears and anxieties. We want to make it easier for you to share your stories knowing that they will be reported accurately and fairly, and without the rush to get
good ratings or create fear. You are at the centre of what we do, how we do it and where we do it and you are allowing a social proof that you, too, matter. The media are not reserved for other people,
or some people. The media are for everyone.
So, for more than 15 years, some of our members have been very active in the media, so by all account, they know their stuff.

Eugene Nolan is my name. I was born in Finglas, Dublin, but moved to Newcastlewest, Co. Limerick in 2003. I am married with three great children who have grown up now. For more than a decade, I worked as a volunteer host and presenter at our local Community Radio Station, Westlimerick102fm. I am now entering the web with my colleague, Lylian Fotabong, to make it easy for all around the world to share their stories and experiences.
